About Us

Our Mission

"We believe that making the connection between learning and earning is the key to developing our future workforce and entrepreneurs."

Our Vision

Our Vision is to provide the youth in our community with a scientific based instructional transition plan that is flexible and adaptable to the needs of industry and society; that will give them the guidance they need to reach financial responsibility and independence to make the transition from high school to adulthood, to succeed in exposing them to the hidden rules that will lead them out of economic poverty in the 21st century. Through our relationship with local community partners, we will build a strong network for our youth.

Partnership/Collaboration

We will engage the Akron Community in a continuous partnership and collaboration process for improving basic skills that a student will need to transition into adulthood. Together we will come up with the best plan of action for the student so that their growth is not stunted by their circumstances. Support could fall under one of the following:

  • Referring individuals to our program
  • Mentoring
  • In-kind services
  • Financial Support
  • Promotional Support
  • Volunteering Donations are appreciated (i.e. Financial, technology, furniture)

Keys to Success

  • Transition plan that fit our clients needs
  • Hiring dedicated professionals to help teach our clients the necessary skills
  • Hiring professional and non-judgmental employees
  • Open and Honest communication
  • Building Strong relationships within the community

Our Staff

Our staff will work with schools, educators, local businesses, community partners, churches, and local service providers to close the communication, employment and educational gap. By providing a transition plan that links all these areas of support, our students will be more aware of all the resources and opportunites available to them.
