Working In Progress is about opening the gateway to helping students know what their learning strengths are, how to develop them and use to achieve academic success and reduce the number of students labeled underachievers, and not left behind. It’s important to us that children of all race and cultural backgrounds grow to be effective learners, communicators, make good decisions, be social and cultural conscious, and globally prepared. Our model seeks to help teachers build a working relationship with the parents, students, and the community.
We do this by providing an out-of-the box, open approach to building lesson plans, communicating the learning materials to student and parent, assessing each child’s learning strengths and sharing them with the parent, and having the model as a standard within the school community.
